Yes, i actually won something! It's a first, i think. I won a trip to Prague, Czech-Republic, for 5 days to visit the Pilsner-Urquel brewery in Pilsen!!! It includes airfare, hotel,and brewery tour for two; and my lovely friend Owen is being dragged along for the beer-festivities. I just happened to be attending the Vancouver Hopscotch festival (get it? beer+whiskey...) with Sebas in November and there was a draw for this awesome trip! And, unbelievably so, I won! Woo-hoo! I think the best part is that we can plan it for any time we want, which is pretty cool. Gives me time to quit my job and move back to the Okanagan and live in the woods for a while before flying off to Europe again. Fun fun fun. Sorry, all you other friends of mine; Owen's never left this continent before. That was assuredly involved in the decision making process of whom is to accompany me :)
Having said that, anyone and everyone is welcome to join us! when we decide the dates, both owen and i will post them on our blogs so that the masses are aware. This will give many a folk ample time to arrange their own flights and such so that we can make a real go of it in painting Prague red!! Sound like fun? Sure does!
